Making a Trend Uniquely You -- The Power of an Event Planner

Your wedding day is meant to be one of the best and most memorable days of your life. Yet if you ask almost any bride how their planning process is going they would most likely include the words “stressful” or “a lot of work”. But it doesn’t have to be this way. There are many talented professionals out there ready to make your planning process a breeze. At Jane Rae Events our goal is to take what might be a difficult or stressful process and turn it into something you’ll happily look back on.

Most brides have a vision of how they want their wedding to look. This vision usually comes from hours spent on Pinterest looking at the latest colors, trends, and locations.

While many brides fall in love with a particular trend they often struggle with the idea that so many others are doing that same theme/color scheme/pattern -- that’s where we come in!  As an event planning and rentals company we are here to make that vision a reality. Our talented team can help you take those ideas and turn them into something that is uniquely you.

One major trend this summer is the use of the dusty blue color. Brides are falling in love with the soft romantic way this color adds to any location and works in any season. Even though this color has become super popular this summer, there are many ways we can help you stand out from the crowd. Not only does the dusty blue pair well with warm and cool tones, but it also adds a great pop of color to a neutral theme.

Here’s a few photos from a shoot where we took this major trend and put our own personal twist on it. We kept this look very neutral by incorporating the greens but gave it a fun twist by adding mixed metals of both gold and silver throughout the decor.

Another great example of making this trend unique is what we did for Alyssa and Sid. Alyssa loved the dusty blue but made her wedding stand out by adding pops of blush pink and enhanced the natural wood with elements of gold.

Finally Laura’s wedding was so elegant while letting dusty blue be the star of the show. Since she used the blue for her bridesmaid’s dresses she kept things timeless by adding lots of greens and pops of white to the bouquets and centerpieces.
